Simply Music is an Australian method built by music educator Neil Moore. It teaches music in the same way that people actually learn to talk: make a sound first, pick up the symbols later. A student who cannot read a note is playing full pieces within a few weeks — blues, classical, contemporary, and the kind of accompaniment you would play behind a singer. Reading is delayed rather than dropped, and when it does arrive it goes in quickly, because there is already a library of music to attach it to.
